I’m a self-taught designer with a business degree living in ‘burbs of Minneapolis. I have spent the past 15 years working as an in-house designer in the medical device industry creating print collateral, tradeshow displays, direct mail, presentations, and packaging.
I’m also a graduate student at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD), where I’m working to build a stronger creative process, challenge my creative patterns, and build the groundwork for creating more digital work.
Personally, I’m interested in how design sparks joy. There’s nothing like that little jolt of irrational joy when a something surprises or delights me, and the older I get, the more I find myself striving to do the same thing in my work.
