As an in-house designer for over 14 years, I've implemented product and company brands across a myriad of print and digital media. I'm passionate about helping people, teams and companies grow by providing tools to shape their vision into something tangible - whether that's re-imagining the visual brand, implementing processes that clear up clutter, or supporting other creatives in achieving their goals.
I'm also the co-host of Comm Capers, a new podcast that highlights tales of brand essence escapades, content shenanigans and technology trouble-making experienced during decades of marketing communications and corporate design. Cogentix Medical, an international medical device company, formed when Uroplasty and Vision Sciences merged in April 2015. Cogentix Medical manufactures products for the minimally invasive treatment of urinary incontinence and an innovative line of endoscopy systems. I was hired at Uroplasty as a Marketing Communications Specialist to provide design and project support. In 2008, I was promoted to Sr. Design Specialist responsible for the company's visual brand as well as managing print production and fulfillment.
Carlson Marketing Group was a privately owned loyalty marketing firm supporting clients like Northwest WorldPerks and Radisson Hotels. I was hired as a Creative Project Manager for the legacy hotel loyalty program, GoldPoints Plus.
Synovis Surgical Innovations manufactures soft tissue repair, staple line reinforcement, and surgical tools. I was hired as a part-time Communications Assistant and six months later I was offered a full-time position. In 2004 I was promoted to Design Associate.
Magellan Medical Services specializes in clinical specialist staffing, product launch strategy, and market research for the medical device market. I was hired as the company's first full-time employee (Administrative Assistant). I left the company in November of 1998 to focus on design work and returned in February 2000 as a part-time Project Coordinator and was later promoted to Marketing Project Manager, responsible for market research projects.
